The Fire Chief is looking for a few good Men and Women. Have you ever wondered who responds when there is a 911 fire or medical emergency? The answer is: It’s People Just Like You!
The Briarcliff Manor Emergency Medical Services (BMEMS) is a volunteer organization. Our members consist of Emergency Medical Technicians and Ambulance Drivers. Training is provided to assist volunteers in achieving these positions. Our ambulance is certified by the New York State Department of Health to operate at a Basic Life Support level. Our members come from all walks of life such as teachers, carpenters, plumbers, electricians, accountants, financial advisors, etc. We also have medical students who want to gain experience with patient care. Despite occupational differences, members have joined Briarcliff Manor EMS for one reason, to serve our community.
If you’re interested, please consider becoming a VOLUNTEER EMT. We need men and women, we need you, to assist in answering emergency calls 24/7. We provide all the necessary required training and you provide the time. Any amount of time you can give will be greatly appreciated, and the rewards are incomparable!
Simply click the link https://join.bmfd.org/ complete the form and it will be sent to the Chief. He will get back to you within a day or two.
Thank You for considering becoming a member of the BMEMS.
