1050 Pleasantville Road - Training
The Fire Department will be conducting a drill in the 1050 Pleasantville Road parking lot tomorrow, Saturday, September 30th in the afternoon from approximately 1:00 – 6:00 PM.
Annual Road Paving
Subject to weather conditions, please take notice that the Village’s annual paving is scheduled to begin on Wednesday, October 4, 2023 and last approximately two (2) weeks. The following roads on the list to be paved (in no particular order) are:
Meadow Road
Peach Tree Lane
Meadow Circle
Chestnut Hill Lane
Magnolia Road
Washburn Road
Apple Lane
Orchard Road
Todd Lane
Carleton Avenue
10/3/23 Board of Trustees Meeting.
Please note that the 10/3/23 Board of Trustees Meeting will be held in person at the William J. Vescio Community Center, 1 Library Road. The meetings will also broadcast via Zoom for the purposes of remote viewing and participation. The Work Session will be held at/or about 6:00/6:30 PM and the Regular Meeting will be held at/or about 7:30 PM. The Public Hearings are as follows:
- Continued Public Hearing to Amend Chapter 186, Streets and Sidewalks, Article V
- Continued Public Hearing to Amend Chapter 220-17, Board of Appeals

The Fire Chief is looking for a few good Men and Women. Have you ever wondered who responds when there is a 911 fire or medical emergency? The answer is: It’s People Just Like You!
The Briarcliff Manor Emergency Medical Services (BMEMS) is a volunteer organization. Our members consist of Emergency Medical Technicians and Ambulance Drivers. Training is provided to assist volunteers in achieving these positions. Our ambulance is certified by the New York State Department of Health to operate at a Basic Life Support level. Our members come from all walks of life such as teachers, carpenters, plumbers, electricians, accountants, financial advisors, etc. We also have medical students who want to gain experience with patient care. Despite occupational differences, members have joined Briarcliff Manor EMS for one reason, to serve our community.

If you’re interested, please consider becoming a VOLUNTEER EMT. We need men and women, we need you, to assist in answering emergency calls 24/7. We provide all the necessary required training and you provide the time. Any amount of time you can give will be greatly appreciated, and the rewards are incomparable!
